From new Canadian singer & songwriter: Christmas song

CNL editor’s Note:
Merry Christmas to ALL !

Christmas song

It’s christmas day and the sky is blue,
the snow outside falls over you.
I’m waiting for the perfect time
to give you every gift I wrapped.
Under the tree there was tears of joy,
a scarf full of love, from a little boy,
a man who hides behind this child,
too shy to let you come inside.

Cuz’ I’ve been lost and I’ve been wrong.
Santa Claus, could you forgive all my sins?
Cuz’ I’ve been broke and I’ve been mad.
Maybe it’s time for me to make a wish
and bring her home for christmas night.

I climbed to hide to get a better view,
to see the world behind the sea and you.
Tides were not strong enough
to brake apart our ship into the dust.
I’m still afraid to loose it all
make bad moves and then break your heart.
I close my eyes to see the stars
it shows me your face in the dark.

Cuz’ I’ve been lost and I’ve been wrong.
Santa Claus, could you forgive all my sins?
Cuz’ I’ve been broke and I’ve been mad.
Maybe it’s time for me to make a wish
and bring her home for christmas night.

To know what it’s like to feel the heat of my only one.
To bring her heartbeat everywhere,
the rhythm of a christmas song.

(Chorus)

It’s christmas night, can you feel it too?
It reminds me a smell of deja vu.
You and I around the christmas tree,
I’m back to the child I used to be.
