Chavez : Dictator or Popular Leader of Venezuela ?

The book discussed in this edition of Epilogue is “Hugo Chavez and the Bolivarian revolution” written by Richard Gott.

Venezuela is known for his president and leader Hugo Chavez, who has been a key figure after his takeover as president in the country. He has revolutionized Caracas relations with its neighbors and is moving toward a bloc with the neighbors. Inside Venezuela, Chavez has paced up the speed for betterment of the country and destroying poverty, changing the paradigms of food and hygienic issues.

So is Chavez a dictator or a popular leader in Venezuela?
