  • 49 percent of all Americans live in a home that gets direct monetary benefits from the federal government each month
  • the government is giving out far more money than it is taking in
  • US government must borrow about 8 trillion dollars a year just to keep up with the game
  • this game can continue is if the U.S. government can continue to borrow gigantic piles of money at ridiculously low interest rates
  • what happens when the rest of the world decides that it does not want to loan these 8 trillion dollars a year at ultra-low interest rates?

  • they’re telling us we’ve been in a recovery for five year
  • people’s standard of living is going down
  • real incomes are falling
  • job opportunities are disappearing
  • 50% of Americans are reliant upon the government for their income

¨More and more, Americans are tired, frustrated, anxious, and worried about the state of their country. They are afraid of an increasingly violent and oppressive federal government, and they are worried about the economic insecurity which still grips the nation.¨ – John W. Whitehead (2)

Inflation in America: ‘Virtually unheard of until the Federal Reserve took over’

Picture of the Week

Michael Krieger:

“As is clear by this chart, inflation was virtually unheard of until the Creature from Jekyll Island (the Federal Reserve) took over.  However, more importantly, things didn’t really start to get bad until the 1970?s right after Nixon took the nation off the gold standard in 1971.  Continue reading

we must identify the underlying currents that create Empty people who are willing to load guns and sharpen knives with the goal of hurting others. (…) some in Hollywood are finally coming forward to admit that video game, movie, and television violence set the stage…and in all too many cases actually encourage …the unhinged, as well as the borderline unhinged, to pattern their thinking and behaviors after evil role models.”

“For seven or eight decades now, public schools have failed to teach every non-retarded child to read, write, cipher, build a knowledge base, and use all of these tools for Thinking, Analyzing, and Wisely Concluding.” – Linda Schrock Taylor – emphasis added

Where did modern socialism begin? In America.

Anti-Sovio-Nazo-Europo-flag / Wikimedia Commons *

“The comprehensive nature of the failure of socialism is not taught in college textbooks. The topic is glossed over wherever possible.”

“Socialism failed — totally. But the intelligentsia still refuses to embrace the free-market social philosophy of Mises, the man who predicted the failures of socialism, and who provided arguments to support his universal condemnation.

“The majority has never been offered a choice between controls and freedom. (…) You know that both parties today (in the U.S.A.) ARE for socialism, in effect, for controls. And there is no party, there are no voices to offer an actual pro-capitalist, laissez-faire economic freedom and individualism. That’s what this country needs today.”

(…) “you see destruction all around you and that you are moving towards disaster until and unless all those welfare state conceptions have been reversed and rejected. It is precisely these trends which are bringing the world to disaster. Because we are now moving towards complete collectivism or socialism – a system under which everybody is enslaved to everybody. AYN RAND (1958)

In America the Rule of Law Is Vacated

Daniel St.Pierre / FreeDigitalPhotos.net *

With bank fraudsters, torturers, and war criminals running free, the US Department of Justice (sic) has nothing better to do than to harass the famous Tennessee guitar manufacturer, Gibson, arrest organic food producers in California and send 12 abusive FBI agents armed with assault rifles to bust down yet another wrong door of yet another innocent family, leaving parents, children, and grandmother traumatized.
