LPAC: “On June 10th Roland Dumas, former French Foreign Affairs Minister, made some rather shocking revelations on Britain’s role in the war against Syria…”
Roland Dumas: “Just about two years ago, before the hostilities started in Syria, (…) Britain was preparing an invasion of the rebels into Syria.”
Dr Webster Tarpley: “This is the big strategic fact: the British and the French are ready to fight to the last American! Isn’t that great!”
Nigel Farage: “The British government is the most enthusiastic country in the entire international community to get involved in Syria.“

Obama meets with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov – July 13, 2011 / Wikimedia *
“Military action in Syria will lead to catastrophe, Russia’s Foreign Minister has said. Russia opposes US demands for a no-fly zone over Syria, he said, adding that the solution to the ongoing conflict is the Geneva accord peace plan.”
“Russia does not support the Assad regime, but rather works in the interest of the Syrian people and regards ending the ongoing violence in the country as its priority, Lavrov said. Moscow also rejects the imposition of any no-fly zone over Syria as a violation of Syrian sovereignty, he said, referencing recent statements by Washington.” (1)

Obama Demanded Congressional Recess as Free Hand for War
LaRouchePAC
August 10, 2012
Senior Democratic Party and intelligence community sources have all confirmed that the Tuesday unanimous consent in the Congress, reversing last week’s House vote to remain in session through the August period, was engineered by the White House and was motivated, in part, to give Obama a free hand to unleash the Guns of August. According to the sources, Obama is now preparing direct U.S. military intervention in Syria to overthrow the Assad regime, given the recent on-the-ground setback for the armed Syrian opposition, which was routed in Damascus and is in process of being defeated in Aleppo. He did not want Congress in session while the option is put in place for such a U.S. move, the sources confirmed. Continue reading

Dr. Guenter Meyer, a Middle East expert at the University of Mainz in Germany, speaking to RT in an interview, described the Houla massacre of three weeks ago as an example of “massacre marketing, which means that rebels on purpose kill as many people as possible in order to incite worldwide public opinion and to promote invasion from abroad into Syria in order to oust Bashar al-Assad.“
“It’s quite obvious that for the Houla Massacre the rebels were responsible.”
NATO after regime change in Syria: Webster Griffin Tarpley PressTVGlobalNews
“NATO doesn’t want a peaceful solution of the internal problems of Syria. They want the ISSUE. They want the issue kept alive. They want continuing violence, continuing civil war so they can use it eventually, if the conditions obtained, for an aggression, for a coalition of the willing, an armed attack, a no-fly zone, followed by regime change.”
“Now over the weekend, we’ve entered a roam of absolute delirium where Hillary Clinton says: “Time is running out for Syria to avoid, and I quote, “a catastrophic assault” which would threaten to destroy the Syrian State.” Webster Griffin Tarpley, in Washington (1)
“I think we should understand that that war has already started. The rebels are the foot soldiers of the NATO military alliance. They are being armed explicitly under the instructions of the United States and its allies,” Director of the Centre for Research on Globalization, Prof. Michel Chossudovsky, in Montreal (2)
“The desperation of the US and the British comes from their financial bankruptcy, and what they’ve got to do is increase the rate of exploitation, and looting, and sacking of the entire world economy.” – Webster Tarpley
